Scope

The Works include the construction, completion, operation and maintenance of the New KOC Ahmadi Hospital, the Residential Buildings, external works, and the associated buildings, including all utilities, off-Site connections, the procurement, supply, expediting, inspecting, testing, shipping, delivery to Site and installation of all material, equipment, Medical Equipment and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), project management, training, inspection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, rectification of defects, Operation and maintenance of all executed works .
Description : The New KOC Ahmadi Hospital consists of the construction of a four storey, plus below grade, 300-bed fully-serviced hospital complete with and including all services. The New KOC Ahmadi Hospital and residencies have a combined floor area of approximately 95,000 square meters.
A new Residential facility consists of five residential buildings approximately 12,900 square meters each in two levels with a total of 254 studios complete with surface parking for resident doctors and nurses.
The external works comprise of extensive hard and soft landscaping, irrigation, provision of a minimum 1033 shaded car parking spaces, five ring main sub-stations and services plant complete with all required cable tunnels and trenches, underground off Site infrastructure utility services, Site lighting, tie-ins to local services, internal roads, connections and link roads to the main roads, helipad, Site security and fences and signage systems, underground water tanks and fuel tanks.
